I Wanted To Scream, But Everyone Was Asleep
Breastfeeding around the clock is just another part of my job description as a mom. My (then) newborn woke up to feed around 3 AM, and because there's no way on earth I was getting out of bed if I didn't have to, I fed her while propped up on my pillows. All was well until I heard through my semi-consciousness an ominous sound, and in a split second I was covered in spit-up. Me, her, my pillow and bedsheet. FUN FUN FUNNNN. 15 inches away, snoring softly, was my husband, completely unaware of the situation. I was alone on the battlefield.
Let's just say I did have to get out of bed that night.
Husbands snoring through the chaos: cute or grounds for divorce? 😂
